Meggernie - bivouacking

On Saturday night the Scouts had the chance to sleep without their tents and the older Scouts took up the challenge. Some used the great hammocks that Meggernie have, and some used the "wedge" - a really well built den. We had to temporarily move the family of mice that had taken up residence in the straw but everyone had a great time, slept quite well, and really enjoyed their own fire to cook marshmallows in the evening and their breakfast in the morning.
